University Overview

Every year, over four thousand students representing 106 different nationalities meet at Istituto Marangoni to pursue one common dream: a career in fashion. The School is trusted by the most important members of the fashion industry and recognised across the academic world.

The School was founded in Milano in 1935 by the tailor Giulio Marangoni, and has schools in Firenze, Paris, London, Mumbai, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Miami.

Istituto Marangoni’s solid reputation spans the fashion and academic worlds. The companies enriched by the School’s graduates include Calvin Klein, Mulberry, Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood. It has also forged partnerships with leading international institutions, including Manchester Metropolitan University.

Istituto Marangoni International Study Centre in London provides a tailor-made university preparation programme for international students hoping to enter the fashion industry.

Following completion of the Foundation Year in London, and achieving the required grades, students have the option to progress to one of a wide range of undergraduate courses in the fields of fashion design, styling or business.
